Have you seen the Grindhouse Double Feature movies yet? First there was “Grindhouse Presents: Quentin Tarantino’s Death Proof” (Death Proof) and then “Grindhouse Presents: Robert Rodriguez’s Planet Terror” (Planet Terror). They bundled it up as a double feature and if you get your popcorn, and drinks and sit in front of the T.V., it lasts about 3-3/4 hours.

Anyway… April March is actually a person who sings this song called “Chick Habit” .. and it’s the last song in the movie Death Proof, before the credits. Enjoy.

To help welcome our new writer Michelle Schaefer, who takes over the And You Will Have Kids blog this week .. I thought I would offer some “Kid” advice a reader once offered me …

Tough Love vs. Spanking

Most people think it improper to spank children, so I have tried other methods to control my kids when they have one of ‘those moments’.

One that I found effective is for me to just take the child for a car ride and talk.

Some say it’s the vibration from the car, others say it’s the time away from any distractions such as TV, Video Games, Computer, IPod, etc.

Either way, my kids usually calm down and stop misbehaving after our car ride together. Eye to eye contact helps a lot too.

I’ve included a photo below of one of my sessions with my son, in case you would like to use the technique.
