Epic Movie - Finally came on Movie Channel this week and I watched it … and I must say .. I really enjoyed this one! For some reason, the laffs were more like ‘Scary Movie’ (The original) when it first came out - NOT like Scary Movie 4 .. where, you kind of guessed all of the punch lines beforehand. I mean - it’s not a super classic or anything, but if you want a good chuckle - I wouldn’t change the channel if it came on again~! I really like the X-Men skits … and all the spoofs were pretty well played up actually in an overly acted way of course!

I’ve never liked Matt Damon .. despite that I’ve liked every movie he has been in! Maybe it’s because my wife likes him. I’m not sure~ .. but, his performance really made me hate him in this movie! And, that’s good! I think you are supposed to hate him.
I think Steve Carell will be a perfect Maxwell Smart .. what do you think? I heard it on the radio, so I it had to be true … then I did a google search ..!
Just watched this movie again last night. IT’S A GREAT MOVIE! .. It’s in German, with subtitles, and basically repeats the same 20 minutes in 3 different scenarios .. with a killer soundtrack! Here are some amazing scenes from the movie that I found on YouTube .. but, I would recommend it for your Home Library.
I watched the movie called The Matador (2005) yesterday, and I must say .. I enjoyed it. I thought Pierce Brosnan played his character quite well, and Greg Kinnear was not annoying!

Even to this day, if there is nothing else on T.V. I will watch the animated series .. I did watch the Spiderman 1 in the theatre .. but, I admittedly, I waited until Spiderman 2 reached Pay-Per-View to watch. Chances are I will do the same or wait until Spiderman 3 hits normal Movie Channel programming … *yawn*

I watched that movie again last night … The Aristrocrats. Basically, it’s documentary about about one of the oldest jokes done by comedians since the vaudeville days .. called “The Aristocrats”. If you haven’t heard of this before, it’s really about the art of story telling among comedians, trying to make the other one vomit, laugh, be disgusted and .. well .. here’s the blurb on it..
This is a documentary about a joke. It is a joke only told by comedians to other comedians. The outline of the joke is that a man goes into an agent’s office and says he has a family act. He then either acts out or describes the most obscene acts possible. The stunned agent says, “And what do you call yourselves?” and the man answers, “The Aristocrats.” Each comedian describes how he tells the story. Each is different, each tries to get an element of surprise out of their listeners, who are assumed to be other comedians….
It’s quite funny .. BUT –> The funniest tale (after knowing the story as told by the previous comedians in the movie) ..was made by Steven Banks aka Billy the Mime, playing himself as Billy the Mime - MIMING the Aristocrat Joke .. and here it is - You should be able to get the general theme of this joke!
