so sooooo beautiful is that a B3 HAMMOND
The guy is amazing…………..
Yes thats a Hammond but its a C3 not a B3… They’re basically the same thing though… Its one of the greatest church instruments ever created…
Thanks E….
what an anointed vessel, u r truly missed at S.P.C.B.C!
Yessir!!!
IT IS the greatest. Bless you
Welcome!!
@motherwandacobb its a C3 – exactly the same as a B3, but in a different case. The C3 is more for this purpose – permanently in a building, such as a church, whereas the B3 could be regarded as more of a gig instrument (it still weights a huge amount, but less so than the C3), but the B3 is more associated with the jazz and blues scene due to its look.
@hugleberthumperdink …..Not Sure
reason is because 40 or 50 years back in most churches the musician were women and due to the women wearing skirts thats why the c3 or (Church 3 tonebar) organ has a closed cabinet for the respect of women organists and the B3 or blues 3 tonebar organ is for gigs of such but if you ask me its the same organ but on a diffrent style
@kyle12083 ….Thanks for the insight
B3, C3 and A100 are same guts, different case. B stands for ‘Bench,’ C for ‘Church.’ ’3′ means percussion. The A1xx series was Hammond’s idea to put the full-size tonewheel organ in the home, up against the wall. The ’1xx’ designation was style of cabinet. For example; an A143 was an A100 in Mediterranean. An A102 was an A100 in French Provincial. There is nothing like the real tonewheel Hammond and a full-size Leslie 122.
@shnewsman …..COOL!!!!
