for a long time I´ve been searching for Half speed videos of the amazing musician Dave Weckl. And still haven´t find any. So, This is my first upload of Dave Weckl at Halfspeed. Enjoy! This is from his Natural evolutuion DVD, and the short solo, right after he explained all his different technic´s he uses. You can found the original clip in NORMAL speed here at Youtube on different places. But Stay tuned for more half-speed´s From Dave Weckl on this place. I have a LOT of that material. And you can really SEE his approach,, and his dynamics, and a lot of “DAVE-lick´s” that you just don´t recognise completely,at Normal speed. Enjoy!

It’s Dave Weckl…You can practice more and more and become a very goor drummer but, i don’t kcnow if you can becom as good as him…
i dont think slow-mo could even bring weckls technique down.. even his phrasing is hard to decipher in slow-mo..
Rest assured, he’s indeed untouchable…
