steve morse has a problem..he has to play all time, he can’t stop playing even for a while!

You have no idea what you’re talking about, and you are disrespectful to someone who actually does know what he’s talking about and makes some of the finest American Made guitars out there. So piss off!

He’s the CEO of Ernie Ball Music Man
The guitars you see Lukather and Morse holding…he is responsible for those.

@coal1987 is that why he has appeared on more number 1 hits than any other guitarist?

Steve Morse is good. but Steve Lukather? wtf? this is just one of those examples.. the most overrated guitarist of all time!.check out his duel with Joe Satriani here in youtube, search it..you’ll know what I’m talking about..nothing compared to the caliber of Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, SRV, Tommy Emmanuel, etc.. but if you like him, that’s your choice..i know i don’t..and this justifies it.

@jasonism123 Steve has played on 1500+ records, and probably has writing credits for a few more still. I’ll agree that Steve isn’t my favourite soloist… even if I think he’s great at that too. But his sense of harmony and arrangement is something that sets him apart from most guitar players (notice I said apart, not above). Granted it’s a subjective issue, but I’d much rather listen to Luke’s rhythm playing and arrangements that Satriani’s or Vai’s (although they are incredible too).

I met Steve Lukather at Norms Rare Guitar music shop awhile back. Very nice down to earth guy. His tone and playing was amazing with just a Les Paul plugged straight to an old Fender amp. I wish he would put out an album with this kind of raw setup without all the rack processing rig he usually uses live.
