@paleceumacolneta these notes are called harmonics. used for the electric bass and other stringed instruments, to sound a lot more sharp note.
men you´re greate the best copy of wooten i respet you
Best on youtube.
NIce cover Man
can it be played on a 4 string bass?
@uncinghiale sisi puoi suonarla anke con l’accordatura standard E A D G
@89FreddieMercury92 eheh niente tablature o spartiti..only ears
@uncinghiale yes it can ,actually victor wooten plays it on a 4 string bass
Exceptionally well played!
Quite unbelievable in fact.
When it started I didn’t expect such a skilled musician. Great job at speed, right hand and left hand technique, groove, rhythm and so on. Truly amazing (no joke intended).
that was unbelivible
I very much enjoyed your cover, and I consider this video one of the best on youtube! I do have a few questions to ask you so that I can try to nail the solo section in the beginning… how do you think victor plays the solo on his 4 string? Does he tune his G and D string down? To be honest I’m not sure at all haha. It’d be great to have your advice given your great ear!!!
@DaWustinator thx! you can play that also on standard tune E A D G ..but in live at the quick victor was using his 4 strings bass tuned A D G C (the C is the sixth string for a 6 strings bass)..so in my 5 strings the tune is standard E A D G C instead of B E A D G
Hey there, I’m very very impressed with your cover and consider this one of the best videos out there today! I have a question for you though to help my covering the solo section on a 4 string… How do you think Victor plays this on his bass? It doesn’t look like he’s going all the way up on the fingerboard as shown in his videos… but when I try to transcribe it, I’m forced to do so.
@riddickbass989 Thank you very much, I just wish I was able to transition back to E A D G like he does so well in time for Amazing Grace which he does in standard tuning

wow you are good
@dipita0

That was fantastic. Bravo!
wow! your so gooood!
