I love Coltrane, he left us some amazing music and this is one of my absolute favorites. I was just messing around, so I might not keep this version, just experimenting

wonderful, I love it. Experimental and beautiful at the same time, just as Coltrane intended it to be played as.
I agree with your comments on the song and Coltrane as well.
You also I have very full tone, and you play like you mean it.
Bravo
its not the sax you retard. you can sound like that on any sax. its the practice and person and mouthpiece
Wow, you really are stupid. I’m embarrassed for you…that is how stupid you are. Also, I was not asking for your 2 cents, I was asking someone who actually knows something about the sax…you just stick to what you know…sucking dick.
haha im right. youre pretty cool. though.
if your still wondering its a cannonball raven stone series and on ebay you sometimes find them for around 1500 dollars. but not often, they are usually more
also, chadley6916 said he’s a newbie, so it’s fair enough that he could assume it’s mostly the sax with the sound. I agree with you that it’s mostly the player and mouthpiece/reed set up that sounds good, but your comment was out of line.
found your video’s, nice stuff man
To get a true saxophone sound, its 90% person 8% mouthpiece/reed, and 1% sax. Its all about the feel, man.
while chadley6916 and the other dude duke it out, it is a cannonball raven series. if anyone is curious, Keilwerth makes some of the best saxes i have ever played. i play on an SX90R alto, but i have a friend who swears by the tenors too. if anyone s interested, just thought id throw other options out there. btw, dude thank you for keeping Coltrane alive!!! you sound amazing!
thats a badass finish!
FightingTheWitness so if the sax has nothing to do with it….why do pros play the nice 6 grand mark 6 horns often?
because the Mark VI is the shit
that’s my man!
@ FightingTheWitness you are some what right but the saxophone does contribute to how a person plays and sounds. You can have the same player stick his mouthpiece on a different horn and most likely he will sound a little different every time
I just LOVE this piece…..
U R THE BEST ON UTUBE!
@chadley6916 i started on alto and now i can great sounds on all types (alto, tenor, bari, etc.) so while tenor is great, alto is a good starter
If you call this ‘messing around’ may i see your other videos??
@AloSec94
I actually went out and bought a cannonball alto, and am enjoying the horn. I must admit I have slacked off lately and need to get back into it!
I love the sound of a Natural Saxophone. Turn off that Effect. You would rock 10,000 times more.
@StarflareLegionaire It’s actually just an echo, to sound as though he were in a concert hall of sorts. I like it.
Very nice sound. I enjoyed this VERY much. I can see your rockin’ a Cannonball sax, but your mouthpiece/reed combo?
very, very nice my friend.
inspiring long sound practice makes better quality or something I believe
This needs more views.
You really touched me – great impro – thanks for sharing!
(callHART/crazy )… Naima, solo tenor sax http://bit.ly/9TMrLX
