I had a job to replace the data centers for the largest photo developing company in Europe (remember when we went to a store to develop pictures?) and saw some amazing stuff including an air conditioner placed just above the servers in Belgium. Since the AC leaked there was a bucket placed on the server and every morning it was emptied by the IT guy. This was the server that held all the client data for Belgium. I asked why they didn&#039;t just move the server 3 feet to either side and the guy said that when the AC dripped that extra bit the water splashed and hit the server. He was actually trying to keep the server safe by not moving it. Why he didn&#039;t get the AC fixed was never determined.</description>
