Man levitates outside the White House

October 23, 2007 12:39pm - DUTCH magician Ramana has been doing his best to freak out American people by levitating in Times Square and in front of the White House. The illusionist, real name Wouter Bijdendijk, hovered several feet above the pavement with apparent ease. His only “prop” was a stick that he held with his left hand.

This clip shows magician Ramana on a Dutch tv-show. He says he can levitate but is, of course, using an invisible device that’s connected … all » to the ground on one side. This guy won prices with his performance and he’s called the David Copperfield of India

* they should really do better camera work on these illiusions.
(did you see it? 5:28 and 5:48 on the first one (look at the carpet where the stand is)
