Well .. I’m almost sure you’ve seen that “Ping Pong” video .. although, maybe you didn’t - everytime someone tried to load it up onto YouTube .. (including me!) it was removed due to copyright requests … although, someone *DID* send me the file via email and I have my own private copy!

The Dodge Sprinter Cargo Van - Have you seen these before?

I’ve been noticing more and more of these Dodge Sprinter vans in our city and, there’s actually one in our condo complex parking lot. While we were out walking the dogs the other day, I managed to peak inside .. it’s not bad! I think if I were merchandising products once again going door to door … this would probably be my van of choice, as it has a nice high ceiling.

Today was Election Day here in Manitoba, Canada … and Gary Doer and the NDP was re-elected.
It was an interesting campaign for our neighbourhood, as our neighbourhood was considered one of the “Swing Vote” communities. Well - it was getting ridiculous with the phone calls and knocks on the door from polling our condo and area. Our NDP Candidate, Sharon Blady (I believe her father lives in our condo complex) and the NDP kept interupting me during dinner however. That pissed me off. So, one day - during a poll - the NDP pollers asked if “they can count on our vote” … and I told them that our house was a split vote .. my wife would probably WOULD vote for the NDP, but I wouldn’t. They asked me why. I said .. “Because the NDP is the only party that interupts me while I’m eating dinner!”

SONY BRAVIA - KLV-40S200A - Our New Toy

It was Friday morning, on the last Friday of April 2007 .. that my old Sony SP-46S17 TV died. It was a 46″ rear projection TV that I bought in 1997. Rest in peace .. but we had absolutely no problems with it. During the interim, we started to watch TV on a spare TV in our back family room - that was the CRT tube type screen .. and it suddenly hit both my wife and myself .. that the picture on the 46″ TV has been dying for years! It was not vivid anymore. And, we now have MTS Digital TV .. so without hesitation we both agreed.
We would go looking for a new high definition TV for our house, and not spend any money trying to fix this TV .. even if it turned out to be a faulty switch that was preventing it from turning itself on and off.
