Advertiser Appreciation: March 2007
I have been posting around the week of the 10th of each month a “THANK-YOU” post, like this one, to all the advertisers from the previous month listed as at month end. There’s not that many products that I buy that I really like .. except maybe ZEST Soap .. all the other stuff in the bathroom is quite generic to me. Oh, and maybe some peppermint AG Conditioner .. other than that, I don’t really care what I use, as long as there is something to use. I often change brands depending on what is on sale.
A while ago, I bought some Old Spice body wash and HATED IT! I hate the smell, it doesn’t lather that well, it’s a liquid and very wasteful .. and, well I couldn’t wait until I got rid of it! And, I did. And it was time for some new body wash.

Julian, Ricky and Bubbles are here in Winnipeg (probably drinking and checking out record stores~) and will be at the St. Vital Chapters Bookstore today between 3pm and 4:30pm. They were on the ‘Breakfast Club’ on CityTV Channel 8 this morning to promote Season 7 starting Sunday April 8, 2007 on Showcase …but, also mentioned that you can watch Season 7 Episode 1 in its entirety online!
So .. if you haven’t seen Trailer Park Boys: The Movie yet .. or even know what this show is all about - watch a glimpse of Canadian TV at its finest!

Tim Hortons Triple Chocolate Danish … Chocolate! Chocolate! Chocolate! Please stop after the 2nd chocolate!

* You would *THINK* that this is a good thing … but I’m now 3 strikes out of 3 times eating this product. All other donuts that you buy at the drive thru DO NOT MELT on your hands or in the donut bag .. but the third swirling chocolate on top of this chocolate-buster melts and sticks to the paper bag they put it inside (that’s the Zorro swirl on the top that I’m talking about)
It’s very annoying, and today it finally happened - I got chocolate all over my clothes! It’s hard to multi-task driving in rush hour traffic, drinking coffee and trying to bite into these chocolate danishes while listening to the new CD that I just made the other day ..
