call HART crazy .. but

It must be about a year now, that I have been continually listening to one CD filled with 185 .mp3’s that I have been listening over and over and over. Well, I never get sick from it .. but I guess driving out to the beach all summer has put a toll on my wife’s music appreciation for my old classics .. and demanded that I create a new music disc for my car!

So I Finally Finished Creating My New CD for 2007

I’ve got about 3900 .mp3’s on my hard drive, and figured I would just make a CD from all the new ones that existed or converted from my CD collection, or obtained by other means .. since March 1, 2006. Unfortunately, that list that was generated ended up being about 220% of the size of the CD .. So, in the last month I’ve been listening to these songs over and over here at my desk on MusicMatch and deleting the ones that I think would SUCK listening to in my car. I then got it down to about 97% of size .. and I burned the CD.

I made a little list on Excel that I shrunk down many times and massaged it to fit on the inside and outside cover of my Memorex CD-R .. and thought to myself … Heck! Maybe I should toss this list on my blog! .. Honestly, I spent more time than I thought, converting it to be readable out here on the www from my musicmatch playlist into excel then into here .. but I started it - so I continued - and here it is.
