I’m In Denial
call HART crazy .. but
The weather has been cold lately in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada. We’ve had minus temperatures, snow .. but today we reached a high of 14c (yesterday was a high of 9c). Tonight it will be minus4c.
But that didn’t stop me! I am wearing
* Summer Shorts
* My Croc Sandals
* NO JACKET
* NO SOCKS!
And, I will wear them tomorrow as well .. living the last days before winter in my summer clothing. I went for a walk today to the bank and Tim Hortons, and people were wearing unbuttoned Parkas - and gloves. Geesh.
Is this why I am starting to get the sniffles? My wife claims that you cannot get a cold from .. “the cold” .. and only from a “virus”. She heard that on TV - so it must be true!
I thought that if you don’t wear clothes in the middle of winter you can also catch a cold. I think I read that on the Internet - so it must be true!
You can imagine our interaction of our viewpoints inbetween commercials during supper and the Judge Judy show.
