NOW DON’T LAUGH!
I have been online since January 1995 starting with Compuserve. In July 1995 I had my own website and used GateWest.net/ for dialup. When our phone company mts.net began buying up all the little guys in the province, I refused to move .. but, ultimately they took over the DSL portion of Gatewest stuff and I think I was annexed or part of some Grandfather clause .. and my stuff was moved. I tossed all of my old stuff onto my DSL account private site, and then ftp’ed it over to my HARTandYVONNE.com domain in 2002 when we were getting married. I thought one day I would get back to this and make something of it and go through all of my links .. but, you know. Time flies. Stuff like that. We got married, had a few pet animals, renewed the mortgage for the second term, and then blogging happened.
So - don’t laugh - but here’s some of the goodies still out there on the internet on my account .. I should probably one day delete or fix the links and make them work .. More →

REVIEW: Of what just happened with Blogdesk

If you look at my previous post .. I tried a few things with Blogdesk. As I referred to in that post, I’ve used it before - but the way I use it here normally and in the past - in basic dos mode I guess - where I do all the html codes manually in a non-html program like Notepad .. or the default wordpress Write Post area. I always turn off my rich visual editor because I think that sucks. I don’t like the WYSIWYG method, and it’s totally unnecessary with Wordpress 2.0+ anyway - because there is a preview of what your post looks like below as if it was posted.
So .. what did I think of Blogdesk?

I’ve used BLOGDESK Software before, but I had used it just like I had used NOTEPAD before. I changed the view to “Source” And just type in my html commands .. For this post - I am just wondering what I can do with “Normal” view source ..
