Time for a new Kicker

call HART crazy .. but

Missing a plane is one thing .. but missing the weekend?

O’Mahony, 29, is a five-year CFL veteran. He spent the last two seasons with the B.C. Lions and played for the Calgary Stampeders from 2001 to 2003.

….

The kicker was working through the disappointment of not playing in British Columbia anymore, Taman said.

“The transition of him coming to Winnipeg was probably a little bit of a burden on him to a degree. He was just getting his head around the fact that he was coming to Winnipeg, which, in talking to him, (it appeared) he’d gotten over that.

….

“Having him miss camp for four days without even knowing where he is, how do we know we can rely on him to get on the plane in Week 2 to go to Toronto to play against them, for example?

No Wonder them
