call HART crazy .. but
Wednesdays are shopping days, and my wife prefers to shop at Superstore. But, my tank of gas is getting to be about a quarter of a tank now, so I popped over to Safeway and purchased over $50.00 CDN of more groceries .. just to get an extra 3-1/2cent discount at the pump. Everybody gets 3-1/2cent discount with the Club Safeway Card (I just enter my phone number into the pump itself) .. but the coupon doubles it to a 7cent discount.
I bought needed cat litter, new toothbrush, sandwich meat, blueberry NYC bagels, batteries … crap like that! It doesn’t take much to reach $50 at the grocers today .. just like it was reaching that amount May 5th when I last filled my gas tank.
