It was okay. But .. what the heck were they talking about? Why didn’t it really end? What .. did they run out of movie film and just decided to end it where they did? The flashbacks were awful and incoherent and quite frankly .. just didn’t add anything to the plot (i.m.o.) or the movie story line.
I thought Anthony Hopkins was excellent though, as usual.
I was thinking when Gwyneth and Jake kissed, it was quite fake and she was forcing a happy thought, maybe backstage at a concert or something.
Of course, my wife loved this movie .. claiming that it’s not important what it was about, except that she really wasn’t crazy in the end and my observations and comments were stupid! or, was it .. stupid stupid stupid!
Mind you .. don’t take my word .. see the film .. or, even yet .. see the trailers! .. just well, if you plan on watching this movie - don’t watch it on Pay Per View or Video On Demand .. wait until it comes out to your regular TV programming and save your money!

PLOT SUMMARY:
The daughter of a brilliant but mentally disturbed mathematician (recently deceased) tries to come to grips with her possible inheritance: his insanity. Complicating matters are one of her father’s ex-students who wants to search through his papers and her estranged sister who shows up to help settle his affairs.
