I had the pleasure of attending the Don Williams concert at Pantages Theatre in Winnipeg on Thursday Sept 29. Let me say that it was outstanding. For those readers that are not familar with him he is a country singer who has been popular since the late sixties. He is not the stereotypical country singer of that era though as his music has none of the twang that seemed to be so prevalent. Although he is in his mid sixties, his voice is still as strong as ever and he gave a classic performance. I had always planned on attending a concert of his for years, and I’m delighted that I finally went.
