Sorry, I’ve been unable to post anything lately .. just wanted to tell you that … I have writer’s block.. just wanted to tell you that … I been busy and have no time for new posts .. just wanted to tell you that ..
call HART crazy … but
*GAG* OKAY! I GET IT! You’re busy. Welcome to the club. We all have personal lives out here in the ‘real world’ and yes, can’t always take the time to keep in touch or post new content to our blogs or answer every email we receive.
I get writing block too .. or sometimes, I am just too busy meeting deadlines and I can’t afford to get distracted going off on a tangent.
But, I promise that I won’t waste your time writing to you to tell you that I won’t be writing today or trying to explain that I was sooooo busy and that’s why I haven’t been able to write or blog in the past while - to me - that’s just a waste of cyberspace.
I believe we are all intelligent enough to realize that as much as it is an “instant world” out here .. and just because you aren’t in touch or haven’t heard from someone doesn’t mean that person has been arrested, or died, or fallen off the face of the planet.
My wife’s cousin does not have a cell phone or an answering machine - nor even call display on his home phone. I don’t think he Instant Messages, at least not with us. As far as we know - he’s still alive and kicking. We don’t contact him to let him know we haven’t contacted him in a while - he knows that. So, when we do contact him - we make it a point to get together and do something and catch up.
It should be the same way with blogging - If you are going to sit down and write anything at all - just take your time to write about it - skip the hasty 1-liners “I’m Busy” speeches. I don’t care if it’s stupid or silly or not type-checked or spell-checked .. I wouldn’t be reading your RSS Feeds if I didn’t like what you had to say - despite all of that! 
Oh - and if you are curious - my busiest times are between the 15th-20th and the week around month-ends (besides “tax season”) … in case my postings slow up during that time :p
[...] Anyway, I personally have been blogging since May 31, 2005 and basically they are shown in the sidebar, in the HART-Empire Network recap. It’s unfortunate that at times, my blogging might suffer due to working engagements – but that’s okay with me. I still tryto do what I can, when I can and you won’t find me making up excuses for not blogging or making excuses. But I do consider this and my blogging to be part of my business – the business of “somehow making a killing on the internet or some other reason without working too hard and retiring early” type of business! To do that I have created a simple goal for myself .. to be able to support a vacation for my wife and myself in December 2006 funded by my efforts here online. [...]
