I know this was originally a 2008 Superbowl Commercial, but they just started playing it here in Canada on my local stations during the last 2 weeks or so …
I am mesmerized by this commercial, and try to think what both person and stain are trying to stay at the same time … sort of like Nintendo DS Brain Age 2
It’s my birthday next week (11th) and the Circus is in town July 9-13, 2008! I’ve never seen them “live” but thought it would be a much more memorable event than …
* getting a new office chair
* getting a few 12GIG memory sticks
* gift cards from local futureshop or best buy
* new digital camera that is at least 12 megapixels
* etc etc
The new show called WIPEOUT aired on ABC tonight …. it’s basically a rip-off of the Spike’s show .. “Most Extreme Elimination” … (that had funny translation voiceovers) but, funny nevertheless!
I don’t care where they got the idea - it’s a SOUND idea and great entertainment! I’m looking forward to watching that show every week - just before Hell’s Kitchen
This is a good read! Although, I don’t know if it is true or not! It was FWD’ed into my Email the other day~
The College English Assignment
Here’s a prime example of ‘Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus’ offered by an English professor from the University of Phoenix. The professor told his class, ‘Today we will experiment with a new form called the tandem story. The process is simple. Each person will pair off with the person sitting to his or her immediate right. As homework tonight, one of you will write the first paragraph of a short story. You will e-mail your partner that paragraph and send another copy to me. The partner will read the first paragraph and then add another paragraph to the story and send it back, also sending another copy to me. The first person will then add a third paragraph, and so on back-and-forth. Remember to re-read what has been written each time in order to keep the story coherent. There is to be absolutely NO talking outside of the e-mails and anything you wish to say must be written in the e-mail. The story is over when both agree a conclusion has been reached.’ The following was actually turned in by two of his English students, Rebecca and Gary.
